Sea Pines Country Club - Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

This 25,271 sq. ft. addition/renovation was successfully built and completed under a negotiated contract. Construction Associates was interviewed and selected by the Owner/Architect to become the third member of the project team. This job required that all functions of the country club remain uninterrupted during the construction process. To maintain the club's reputation and its high-quality standards of performance and service, close coordination with the Club Manager, Board, and Club Members was essential. Construction Associates achieved this goal and due to our value-engineering during the course of the project, we finished ahead of schedule and hundreds of thousands of dollars under budget. The Owner was extremely pleased and in recognition of our outstanding performance, gave each member of the Construction Associates team a $5,000 bonus with an accompanying letter of recommendation. We completed this project in June of 2003.



Atrium Building - Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

This two-story 27,261 sq. ft. structure was completely "gutted" and replaced with all new interiors. This major, multi-million dollar renovation consisted of refurbishing the entire exterior, complete re-roofing and an addition of a fire safety exit from the second floor. Renovations to the interior included new offices on the second floor for Re/Max Realty and a Tony Roma's Restaurant with various retail spaces on the first floor. Construction Associates won an award for completing this Tony Roma's Restaurant in the shortest amount of time in the history of the organization. This construction was completed in November of 1995 while adhering to the strict building requirements of the Town of Hilton Head Island.



Cinema Development - Hilton Head Island, South Carolina
PROJECT: Cinema Development
LOCATION: Savannah, Georgia
OWNER: Independent Theaters
ARCHITECT: Lee, Beste, Miller & Parker

This challenging project consisted of a complete renovation of an existing grocery store in a multiplex of ten (10) individual theaters along with restrooms, a game room, lobby with refreshment center, and ticket booths. The grocery store was completely "gutted" and the floors were removed for each of the individual theaters, and new sloped-radius floors were installed to accommodate theater seating. All interior walls were constructed of colored split-faced block. The sound walls between each theater were also constructed of block. Construction Associates met each schedule and dates required for the installation of all of the theater specialty contractors such as seating, sound-proofing, and projection equipment. This multi-million dollar project was completed ahead of schedule and within the Owner's budget.
